Short Animation with Digital Painting

A short video based roughly on the reclusive and avoidant character Belikov, from Anton Chekhov’s short story “Man in a Case”. I illustrated this personality through repeated visuals of space being enclosed whether a glasses case or Belikov hiding behind a newspaper. This project was created using digital painting frames and sounds of various mechanisms closing such as latches and drawers.
